Meet the Winners at the award ceremony on December 14, 2021, at 18:00 CET at the
American Academy in Rome in the presence of the Italian winners, and simultaneously at
the Italian Cultural Institute in New York at 12:00PM ET with the American winners in
attendance. The two institutions will be linked by video conference.
The event will be presided by the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in New York
Fabio Finotti, the director of the American Academy in Rome Elizabeth Rodini, the
curator of the prize Maria Ida Gaeta and the co-coordinator Maria Gliozzi, the president
of the Federazione Unitaria Italian Scrittori di Roma Antonio Natale Rossi.
The two American jurors Anthony Tamburri (for non-fiction) and Gini Alhadeff (for
fiction) introduce the two winning Italian authors, and the two Italian jurors Stefano Jossa
(for non-fiction) and Luca Briasco (for fiction) present the two winning American writers.
The two institutions will be connected in video conference – simultaneous translation
