Paolo Chiesa is professor of Medieval Latin Literature and Middle Latin Philology at the State University of Milan. Among other things, he has published annotated editions of William of Rubruk's Journey to Mongolia, Bonvesin da la Riva's Wonders of Milan, Liutprand of Cremona's Antapodosis and, with Andrea Tabarroni, Dante's Monarchia. He is the author of introductory texts on philology for university teaching and the textbook Latin Literature of the Middle Ages.
